  • Founder, Board President, and Former Foster

    Arielle Skinner, a native of Norfolk, Virginia, is the Founder and Board President of Fostering Bridges, Inc. With over 15 years of lived experience in the foster care system, Arielle aged out of care and successfully navigated the challenges of transitioning into adulthood without a safety net. Her perseverance led her to graduate from Norfolk State University with a Bachelor of Social Work and later from Louisiana State University with a Master of Social Work.

    Now residing in Baltimore, Maryland, with her husband and young son, Arielle is an accomplished author, advocate, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She currently serves as a Clinical Supervisor in Treatment Foster Care and is a Board Member of the Maryland Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-MD).

    Arielle’s personal journey inspired her to create the support system she wished she had during her transition from care. She is deeply passionate about helping transition-age foster youth reconnect with hope, embrace their potential, and understand that their stories do not end with foster care. Through Fostering Bridges, Inc., Arielle is committed to empowering foster youth to heal, thrive, and achieve their dreams.

  • Founder/Vice President/Board Member

    Bianca Moody is an accomplished entrepreneur, digital strategist, and advocate for empowering transition-age foster youth. As the founder of B. Luxe Digital and Nexus Impact Solutions, Bianca combines her expertise in digital marketing, branding, and strategic business operations with a deep passion for creating meaningful change in underserved communities. With a heart for service and a commitment to fostering resilience, Bianca has played a vital role in advancing Fostering Bridges’ mission to support youth transitioning out of foster care. Her innovative approach to leveraging digital platforms and community engagement has been instrumental in raising awareness and developing impactful programs that bridge gaps and provide essential resources for these young individuals. Bianca brings a wealth of experience in organizational development, program planning, and digital storytelling to the board. As a dedicated mother and advocate for personal and professional growth, she embodies the values of compassion, empowerment, and transformative leadership that align with Fostering Bridges’ vision. In her role on the board, Bianca is focused on strengthening community partnerships, enhancing outreach efforts, and supporting initiatives that equip youth with the tools they need to thrive independently. She is honored to contribute her expertise and insights to further the organization’s mission and make a lasting impact on the lives of foster youth.

  • Vice President

    Kalise is a Norfolk, VA native who now resides in the Greater Richmond area of Virginia. She holds two degrees from Virginia State University: a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in Counselor Education. Currently, she works as a full-time school counselor at a local high school and serves as a Resident in Counseling while pursuing licensure to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Before the formation of Fostering Bridges Inc., Kalise played a pivotal role on the scholarship committee, demonstrating her dedication to empowering students and creating opportunities for their success. Now, as Board Vice President, she is committed to helping the organization grow and thrive. Although Kalise may not have worked with foster youth in depth, she brings a relatable perspective to her role, as her family member is currently under kinship care and resides with her. This personal experience, combined with her professional expertise, fuels her passion for serving others and advancing the mission of Fostering Bridges, Inc.

  • Board Secretary

    Michele’ Wright, LMSW, is a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, who has had a heart to serve all people since the tender age of 5 years old when she watched her mother provide a warm meal to a homeless individual. It was at that moment she realized her true calling. In the coming years, she would take steps to transform her passion into purpose, serving as a Licensed Social Worker in Maryland and Washington, D.C. She is also an Alumna of Howard University School of Social Work (MSW) and Bowie State University (BS).

  • Board Member

    Isabel Williams is the Program Administrator for the Administrative Charging Committee in Prince George’s County under the Office of Integrity, Compliance, and Police Accountability. Isabel resides in Prince George’s County and is a Military Spouse and Mother to a beautiful little girl. Isabel earned her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University in Family and Child Ecology, a Master of Laws in International Rule of Law and Democratic Governance, and a Juris Doctorate with an International Law specialization from Ohio Northern University. She previously worked as a Senior Legislative and Budget Analyst for the County Council, as an Attorney Advisor for the Social Security Administration, and an Institutional Review Specialist and Auditor for the Department of Education. In her spare time Isabel enjoys volunteering for her sorority, advocating for military spouse employment initiatives, international outreach programs, and career Counseling.

    Latoya Lowe is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) who works as a therapist at an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. She is the founder of I Heart ME, a program designed to build self-esteem in youth by creating positive experiences to enhance their confidence. With over 15 years of direct service experience, Latoya is dedicated to helping children and families from diverse backgrounds in various fields, including mental health, addictions, schools, and child welfare. She believes in the importance of community support, encapsulated by her belief that "it takes a village to raise a child."
